As a person who controls future events you know that if you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to get what you already have!
When I heard this phrase, 1 year ago, it hit me like a ton of bricks and I realized that if I want anything to change in my life I have to make changes to my life. Those changes had everything to do with my thinking. The way I perceived just about everything in life and especially my attitude.
This concept was reinforced again to me at Jonathan Budd’s Unstoppable Entrepreneur event, which was full of powerful messages.
Never Settles For A Default Future!
The result is that I no longer feel like I have to accept a “default future” and that I am creating a future of my choice.
This is another big distinction from Unstoppable Entrepreneur.
Ask yourself a question… How are you going to be in 48 hours? 1 month? 6 months? 5 years? 10 years? 30 years?
Take a mental projection of yourself along that time frame asking yourself the question what will I be like if nothing in my life changes?
This is your default future – the result of you not being willing to step up and fight the fight so that you can choose your future. What are those results? If you don’t like what you see, if you are projecting an older, angrier, emotionally depressed version of yourself… I challenge you right now, what are you going to do about it?
Do you still feel fear? Do you still feel doubt? If so, those emotions are still bigger than you! But, I want you to truly understand that you are not your emotions! You are not your stories you tell yourself.
Being an Unstoppable Entrepreneur means that you now begin to distinguish everything you feel every day that holds you back, all the emotions stopping you, with the ones that will completely empower you! Trade fear for belief! Switch doubt for faith! Take action on the daily activities that support these empowering emotions and feelings!
This is when you begin to become an Unstoppable Entrepreneur and create the future of your choice.
Now project your view of yourself in 1, 5, 10, 30 years… how does that feel? Are you willing to do what 99% of the world will not do, so you can live a life of freedom?
I woke up from a surgery in March 2010 and I knew immediately that my entire life needed to change if I was to get to live a life of freedom. It hasn’t easy. This path has been filled with tons of self doubt, discouragement, roadblocks and I have even fallen off the wagon a few times… but you know what, once the seed had been planted no matter how many times I tried to quit on myself, something deep down kept pushing me up!
